If you read The Happy Trail, you will remember how fondly I reminisced about my days doing nails. Today I was on the elliptical when I opened my Facebook page. I saw that a woman, who I did her nails for nearly 20 years, had died. She had moved to Florida, but we still played Words With Friends every day. We talked regularly and she was family to me. In fact, we played only four days ago. When I saw she died, I burst into tears. I saw my nail clients every two weeks and they were a big part of my life. My daughter even remembered who Vann was. I'm blown away by how sad I feel about her passing. I guess it is just another reminder how amazing my profession is. I love my clients and it feels like I really lost a friend. RIP Vann.
