Yesterday, Mark and I were driving down East Henrietta Road and we saw a homeless man crossing the street. Mark nonchalantly mentioned that he stopped by Dibello's the day before and bought this man a meatball sub. If we hadn't seen the man, I doubt he would have said anything. I know that Mark gives many of the homeless people in our neighborhood money on a regular basis. He has even taken one of the guys to the diner on a freezing cold day and gave him $20 for a hot meal. His quiet acts of kindness make me love him even more. In this very volatile time in our history, let's focus on being kind.
