COVID CRAZINESS: A woman was desperate to come in for a Brazilian today during her kids lunch hour because she needed a break from home schooling her 3 children. Sound familiar?

I'll stick with waxing. 

 They may only be going to school for 2 days, but the weather is still nice and it's time for celebration. Pamper yourself with a Facial, Mani, Pedi or wax before you hop in that pool with a very strong cocktail and enjoy a few minutes to yourself!

 I've had dozens of women tell me they tried to do their own Brazilian Wax during COVID. This is how it went for most of them. 

A post COVID cootch came in for a much needed Brazilian Wax. She hadn't done anything to that area for months and months. She called it her sweaty Betty. 

 A client told me it always cracks her up when she walks out Mark & M.E.  after her Brazilian Wax because she has such a squishy tushy.

 I just did the best Gentleman's Brazilian on a new client this morning. His skin handled the wax beautifully and he was shocked that it didn't hurt, which was music to my ears! He mentioned that he uses coconut oil every day on that area, because it helps the area from getting irritated - especially when he sweats at work. He said his buddies all use powder down there which can dry the skin out and make waxing more sensitive. Maybe that is why it is called coco-nut oil!

 We had another "FIRST"  at Mark & M.E. last week. A young man came in for a perm carrying a VERY large garbage bag. Apparently he had way too much to drink the night before and was worried he was going to throw up during the service. Happy to say, he did not.

 Sometimes it gets really hot in the room when we are waxing our clients. Maybe we should think about a new uniform. It could become a very popular trend I imagine.
