Spring break means spring is around the corner!   Spring break, sexy bikini, scandalous Brazilian, sensational booty....are you ready? 

 I was thinking about our day yesterday and started to laugh when I remembered a conversation with a woman I had not seen in about nine months. She climbed on the table apologizing profusely for her long absence from Mark & M.E. I looked at her over grown bush and said, "Tina Turner is on my table today!!!" And she was.

 Sunshine & blue skies one day, snow flurries the next. Since we live in Rochester and aren't afraid of the snow, we plan to be open normal hours today (unless everyone cancels and we have nothing to do...) If you get stranded at the salon, there is always wine. 

 A lady called for a Brazilian but wasn't sure what to do with her kids while she got a wax. Both Mark & M.E. and Wax It All are kid friendly salons. However, unless they are an infant, we'd prefer if the children aren't in the room. Having them see you get a wax could end up costing you thousands in therapy, but they are always welcome to wait in the waiting area with one of our staff members. We even have suckers to bribe them with if they behave while they wait for the 10 minute service to be completed. 

 Last month a woman came in who had been married over 20 years and was complaining that their sex life was pretty dull and infrequent. A girlfriend told her to try getting a Brazilian Wax with me. Not only do Brazilians make women feel sexier and more confident, removing the hair around the clitoris can heighten sensitivity. Some woman actual say that the sensations can be too intense, which doesn't sound like a bad thing to me. I told her that Brazilians could add a little spice to her sex life and I'd be interested to see how everything went. When she came in this week, the first thing she said to me was, "It worked!"

Today's funniest conversation so far:

M.E. "How long has it been since your last Brazilian Wax?"

Client: "Oh girl, I've been skimping on my pimping!"

She wasn't kidding.

 Since holidays often fall on a Monday, salon workers don't have a long weekend like many of you do since we work on Saturday's. But that's okay! Last week we were able to help a lot of men and women get ready for their vacations this week, and that's a great feeling. The cast and crew of Mark & M.E. and Wax It All wish everyone a Happy President's Day and hope everyone is feeling PAWSitively Patriotic!

 Probably the funniest thing that a client said to me this week was the woman who told me her husband kept pulling at her overgrown underarm hair. He wanted to know if she was trying to set a record!😂

 We have waxed a TON of teachers this week.  They walked out of school, made their way to their Brazilian Wax appointments, then strutted out of our salon ready to rock and roll!

I had a client message me to find out when I was getting back from vacation because she was long overdue for a Brazilian Wax. This was her message. I looked up what a grey mountain lion looked like and her situation was not quite as cute and her hair was way longer!

 

 

 Men's Brazilians are a very popular service at our salon. Men are put in the same five positions that we put the women in and it usually takes around fifteen minutes to complete the Brazilian. The number one thing that the male clients are worried about is that they may not have control over their member saluting us while they get their wax. I'm here to tell you to stop worrying about that. The service is not sexual by any means and always includes some amount of pain. The reality is that most men get embarrassed by how small their soldier becomes once it is face to face with our intimidating popsicle stick and the hot wax dripping off of it. 

 The week before February Break is always a very busy one at Mark & M.E. and Wax It All. I wax more teachers this week than any other week of the year and all of the teachers I saw yesterday were ready to go out of town and were ready to PARTY!!!!!!

 February break is just around the corner and being this hairy can be awfully hot. Come see the wax specialists at Mark & M.E. and Wax It All before your escape to the sunshine!

 This was a message I received from one of my clients after I gave her a Brazilian Wax. I love when I get feedback like this. The funny thing is that we saw a lot of body parts that looked exactly like this the past week! Happy it's the weekend!!!

 A young man came in yesterday who hadn't manscaped in what seemed like...forever. He told me his mushroom was hiding in the bushes. He wasn't kidding. It was hard to find.😂

 I think all women have super powers but getting a Brazilian Bikini Wax send those powers to the next level!

Today's date is super cool so I decided to look up its meaning and I loved what I read. Apparently these special numbers are believed to bring in compassion, understanding and acceptance among the people in our lives and is a time that will allow us to move past tough times. It also signifies the beginning for those who want to grow further and navigate a more purposeful life.

 If you want to be soft as a baby's bottom, it's ok to get a Brazilian in the winter since you're going to bundle up anyways. But in case you didn't hear, a snow storm is coming so you may want to try to get in before we get dumped on.
