Bizarre robbery @marknmesalon.  Someone stole our banner in front of the salon that said 

"Home of the 10 Minute Brazilian." I wonder what they plan to do with it?

 

It is with a sad heart that we had to say goodbye to Mark's mom Celia and the founder of our amazing salon on Sunday night. She truly was a pioneer who started the hair salon in 1954 and raised five amazing sons. She will be greatly missed. 💞

 A super wealthy Manhattan couple fought over this 32,000 Beast Chair when they were getting a divorce. I don't know if it's because I wax for a living or what but I find this chair super creepy.

 Shout out to birthday girl Cher today and her fun music since her song came up in a conversation at the salon.

A client commented that "If I Could Turn Back Time" I would have started getting Brazilian Waxes a long time ago. If I did then I would practically be bald by now.

 Our clients say the funniest things. As I removed one of the strips from a woman's bikini line, she yelled "That was the Devil!" And then smiled and said, "It really wasn't that bad at all!" 😁

 I had a George Michaels station on at work the other day. A client hadn't been in to see me in several months. As I was about to start her Brazilian, she said she was nervous. This song came on and I happily sang to her, "You gotta have faith!" It was perfect timing and she did great!

 LOVE when songs match the service that I'm performing.  Like the woman who agreed with George Michaels as he sang FREEDOM during her Brazilian Wax. She told me that is exactly how she felt as I was waxing her. 

I love to ask new clients why they decided to get a Brazilian and how they heard of us. The other day a new client heard about us through a friend and decided to come in because she was having a tough time waxing herself. "After 6 hours of snatching," she said, "I looked up your number and decided to have a professional do it!"

 A new client came in for her first ever Brazilian Wax. She told me she was 70 years old and was bringing me her 70's bush. Happy to say her age didn't matter and we made sure to get her into this decade with the wax.

We can't seem to keep our FUR products in stock because they work SOOOOO GOOD on ingrown hairs and hair bumps. And they work even better when you don't have any FUR on you!😁 See ya soon!

Someone asked me if I wrote romance novels and I sure did! The first one is called A Promise of Passion but I didn't have a copy of it at work today. This is the order of the rest of them. I hope you check them out and leave some reviews!!  Thanks in advance!

 

A woman, who hadn't been waxed in four months, was quite demonstrative during her service. As she was cashing out, she apologized for how loud she was. She told us that, at one point, she felt her soul go to heaven and then come back down to say hello to out technician. It was another very funny moment at the Mark & M.E. Salon. As I said a few days ago, we have the funniest clients!

 Another client was on the hunt for a new salon when her girlfriend recommended that she try us. She told me that her Don King look was getting really uncomfortable and she was so happy to meet me and get a Brazilian. She was even happier when it only took 10 minutes since she was used to it taking 45 minutes!

 There is one thing about our clients that I absolutely love; they are funny! I laughed so much on Saturday that I wish the world could see how fun it is to wax at Mark & M.E. One of our girls was prepping for a marathon and told me she was afraid of starting a "bush fire" if she didn't get waxed first!
