A man stopped me in the Wegman's parking lot. He was admiring my license plate. He told me that if he had a machine like mine, he would make sure it was waxed and shiny all of the time.

When a woman hasn't gotten a Brazilian for several months, she will often refer to the hair on the strip as an animal. Recently, a woman looked at the strip and yelled, "Jesus Christ, it's a wolf!"

A woman came in today who is currently reading The Happy Hoo-Ha Trilogy. She told me she was paranoid about not being clean enough. As she was driving to Mark and M.E. she wondered if she should put a Tic Tac in her Hoo-Ha.

You know it's time to come to Mark and M.E. and get a Brazilian when your man mentions it before bed and then leaves a hundred dollar bill next to the bed the following morning.

The bank we frequent near the salon has employees that don't seem to be happy people. The other day, I was determined to make them smile. I told them they needed music since it was a quiet Saturday afternoon and there were no customers. They said they had to keep the volume low. I told them about a client who was singing to KC & The Sunshine Band, Do A Little Dance, Make A Little Love...while I was waxing her backside. I told her she should wait until she got home to sing that to her man. They laughed a lot!  It made my day. Life is too short to be grumpy.

This month I had The Happy Hen House on sale at the shop. There is a section in the book about some of the crazy expressions from the Urban Dictionary that clients have shared with me. A women who recently read the book told me I had to look up tractor pull. I did and it made me laugh. Then I got to wondering who came up with all of these crazy expressions? I want to be on their writing team!
