It's not uncommon for our clients to wait longer between waxes when they are going on vacation. This is exactly what a woman looked like and what she said as I was waxing her for her vacation.

 This is a question we get asked a lot, so I thought it was important to share our answer with all you ladies out there.

Can you get waxed when Aunt Flo comes to visit? Absolutely! Just make sure the area is clean, cupped, and/or plugged. 

 A woman tried to give herself a Brazilian Wax. She was only able to do the top, so she came to me to finish the job. Before she undressed, she told me that she gave herself a mullet. She wasn't kidding!

 As I was waxing a new client, the song "Rescue Me" came on. The client thought that was the perfect song to come on during his Brazilian Wax.  As it turned out, he didn't need to be rescued. He did great!

 Is it safe to wax when you're pregnant? 

We get asked that a lot and the answer is YES! Shaving and trimming your lady parts is not only logistically impossible with a belly in the way, it can be dangerous. I've heard too many stories over the years about pregnant women cutting themselves in places you do not want to be cut. Leave the personal grooming up to the experts at Mark & M.E. and Wax It All.  We really appreciate the clients who shower right before their wax appointments. In this heat, however, some people get very sweaty on their ride to the salon. Yesterday a woman had an appointment with me but lives an hour away. As she was showering, her husband started her car and cranked the air so she wouldn't get sweaty on her way to Mark & M.E. Huge shout out to that thoughtful husband!
