When you're a beautician, it is the greatest feeling in the world to make others feel beautiful, whether we give you a new hair style, facial, pedicure, wax or whatever... But we think that it's just as important to feel beautiful on the inside. During a yoga class this morning, I was reminded how important it is to not only love yourself but to spread love to others. With how crazy our world is, that simple statement of spreading love to others made me cry. So, for once, today's post isn't a funny one. It's a reminder to spread some kindness and love to others on this beautiful day.

When someone yells 'mother of pearl' during a Brazilian Wax, it makes sense. The pearl represents our pleasure point hidden in the shell that has the ability to be a mother. It's not the expression I would think to yell when I'm in pain, but I thoroughly enjoyed this PG version of a swear word.
Oh goodness, what is M.E. up to now? She bought a barcode and hired a graphic designer for her newest adventure.... Stay tuned for more details.
