I came across a story from The Happy Hoo-Ha (my silly nonfiction book on Amazon) about a woman who used Retin-A on her bikini line to help with ingrown hairs. Most people know that waxing over skin that has been treated with Retin-A is an absolute NO-NO! When I waxed the front of her pubis, it began to bleed because the skin was so fragile. She saw the blood, informed me that she faints when she sees blood and proceeded to black out. It was one of the most frightening experiences I've ever had in the wax room.
