 Today I had a deja vu of something I posted about last week while giving a girl a Brazilian Wax. 

Client: Crap, my phone is dying.

M.E. I have a charger.

Client: It's a Galaxy.

M.E. So sorry, my charger is for iPhones. 

Client: I have one of those too.

M.E. Why do you have two?

Client: (major monster hesitation......) It's for work...

M.E. You're a drug dealer. 

Client: Yea. 

Can't make this up.  

 

Just a friendly reminder that Mark & M.E. and Wax It All will be closed Tuesday,  July 6th so our staff can enjoy a 3 day weekend!!!! 

 The crazy stories are endless when you wax Brazilians for a living. And when a story makes me speechless, I feel compelled to share. I had a new client come in complaining that she couldn't get on the table because she hurt her back at work. I offered to reschedule the appointment but she adamantly declined because she needed the wax for a date the following evening. Apparently a former dom of hers wanted to trade places and she needed to be ready for how physical one needs to be when he or she is a dominant.

 Mark & Mary Elizabeth will not be working July 3-7 because they are celebrating their son's marriage again with a kick-ass party!!!

 Is there an age limit to waxing? Not really. Yesterday I waxed 3 separate 13 year old girls. The first one had very dark hair on her upper lip & a connected brow. The second girl had a lot of hair that poked out of her bathing suit and the third one had very dense bikini hair that was noticeable beneath her bathing suit. All of them told me they were embarrassed by their hair and two of them even tried shaving. Both of those girls told me that their skin got very irritated by the razor and they swore they'd never shave again. Ironically the girls that got the bikini waxes tolerated the wax better than their mom's. 😁

 Some people sweat a lot during a Brazilian Waxing service. Yesterday a young woman was sweating so badly that she told me her blow out was going to fall out!

 Some people go to work every day; I go to play and make people happy. It's the best job in the world. And for the most part, our job is an absolute blast. Many of you would be shocked by how much laughter occurs in our wax rooms. Making the waxing experience fun is the legacy I hope to leave behind when I stop ripping out hair for a living. When you pull a lot of hair out by the root, it is very satisfying. The other day I was so psyched after one particular rip, the client asked, "Are you happy?" And I said, "Very!" That is when she said, "At least one of us is!" We both started laughing, she got off the table and thanked me profusely. It was another fun moment and a rewarding experience.

M.E. "Why do you have 2 phones?"

Client: "I'm a drug dealer."

M.E. "But you're pregnant."

Client: "I don't do drugs; I just sell them."

 As I was giving a client a Brazilian Wax, she told me that she was getting so warm that she was going to have to take her wig off! Moral of the story: You may want to think twice about wearing a wig to your wax appointment.

Good Morning! Today's Brazilian Wax Humor: This is what it has felt like nearly every day since we reopened after the shut down. 

 A girl told me her mom hadn't been in to see me for a Brazilian Wax because she gained a lot of weight and didn't want to hold her pouch out of the way. It doesn't matter to me or my staff if you have gained weight. We miss seeing you and know a wax would make you feel better! And on a side note, kangaroos have pouches, not women.

I had a really difficult time waxing a man and his wife this week. This was the condition of their hair when they came in for side by side Brazilians. They were high (which never helps) and neither of them could remember the last time they drank a glass of water!😩

 A walk-in client was hoping we had a shower so she could wash up before getting a Brazilian Wax. Just in case you were wondering, we are a beauty salon, not a gym. 

After I finished waxing a woman, she told me that some of her friends look for groupons or discount salons when they get a Brazilian Wax. "I don't look for bargains when it comes to my beave," she told me. "My lady parts deserves the best!" I totally agree. 

 Two friends came in together to get Brazilian Waxes. It was their first time and they were talking about celebrating after they left the salon. I asked them if they were going to have a drink. The one woman said no, they'd have to have two since they have two labia. Then she said, we'll need to do a shot for the back side!

 DO NOT believe everything you read! The bush is definitely not back. How do I know???? My staff and I waxed so many v-j-jays the past 2 weeks that we are all drowning ourselves in copious amounts of wine tonight!

 Today I had a client come in who I hadn't seen since 2019. She hadn't done much with her bikini area since I last saw her, so it was a daunting situation to say the least. As I was waxing her, she simulated stabbing me, because the service was a bit uncomfortable. Unlike this caption, however, it was really funny and she left a very happy camper!

Running Late Is Going To Cost You In More Ways Than One!

 Both Mark & M.E. and Wax It All book their Brazilian appointments every 15 minutes and if you're late, not only is it possible that we may have to turn you away, but you will be charged for a missed visit. PLEASE, try to arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This is a busy time of year and we want to accommodate every client with the best service possible!

 "What have you been doing all day?" I asked a client.

"Smoking," she answered. 

Gee, I wonder why her skin was dehydrated and she was totally intolerant of the wax?
