 Today I had a deja vu of something I posted about last week while giving a girl a Brazilian Wax. 

Client: Crap, my phone is dying.

M.E. I have a charger.

Client: It's a Galaxy.

M.E. So sorry, my charger is for iPhones. 

Client: I have one of those too.

M.E. Why do you have two?

Client: (major monster hesitation......) It's for work...

M.E. You're a drug dealer. 

Client: Yea. 

Can't make this up.  

 

Just a friendly reminder that Mark & M.E. and Wax It All will be closed Tuesday,  July 6th so our staff can enjoy a 3 day weekend!!!! 

 The crazy stories are endless when you wax Brazilians for a living. And when a story makes me speechless, I feel compelled to share. I had a new client come in complaining that she couldn't get on the table because she hurt her back at work. I offered to reschedule the appointment but she adamantly declined because she needed the wax for a date the following evening. Apparently a former dom of hers wanted to trade places and she needed to be ready for how physical one needs to be when he or she is a dominant.

 Mark & Mary Elizabeth will not be working July 3-7 because they are celebrating their son's marriage again with a kick-ass party!!!

 Is there an age limit to waxing? Not really. Yesterday I waxed 3 separate 13 year old girls. The first one had very dark hair on her upper lip & a connected brow. The second girl had a lot of hair that poked out of her bathing suit and the third one had very dense bikini hair that was noticeable beneath her bathing suit. All of them told me they were embarrassed by their hair and two of them even tried shaving. Both of those girls told me that their skin got very irritated by the razor and they swore they'd never shave again. Ironically the girls that got the bikini waxes tolerated the wax better than their mom's. 😁

 Some people sweat a lot during a Brazilian Waxing service. Yesterday a young woman was sweating so badly that she told me her blow out was going to fall out!
