36 years ago today, Mark asked me to marry him. Although it was April 1st, it wasn't an April fool's prank. It was for real.  I never knew anything about the beauty business before I met him. My mom used to perm my hair and I got $5 haircuts at Cut n Curl. I would never have gotten into this business if I hadn't met Mark. I found the person and profession of my dreams and have had an amazing thirty six years. Today is definitely a cause for celebration!
